Perform data entry, validation, and auditing of benefits and leave records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Acts as a subject matter expert in the management of benefit documents, workflows and employee inquiries as it relates to employee benefits, including group health plans, ancillary plans, paid days off, grandfathered paid leave plans and retirement options.
Acts as a liaison and maintains appropriate relationships with benefit vendor representatives, Dycom corporate benefits team members and HRIS teams, and Field Managers/ Administrative Assistants to provide timely support and ensure efficient resolution of all leave of absence and benefits-related matters.
Track, investigate, and document all leave cases in the leave administration system; ensure timely updates and case resolution. HR Systems & Data Integrity.
Lift up to 15 lbs; carry work materials, equipment, etc.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding leave options, documentation, and communication requirements.
Support annual Open Enrollment efforts, including company-wide communications, documentation, and tracking.
Respond promptly to employee inquiries via phone, email, or case management system.
Model and uphold HR’s customer service standards and confidentiality requirements.
Provides guidance on benefit plan information to employees and dependents, including, but not limited to, new hire enrollment, open enrollment, continuation of coverage information, evidence of insurability applications, death claims and government required notices and compliance documents.
Provide guidance to employees and dependents on benefit plan information, eligibility, enrollment, qualifying life events, continuation of coverage (COBRA), and other benefits-related inquiries.
Stand, walk, and sit for extended period of time.
Manage all types of employee leaves, including FMLA, ADA, parental, personal, and other statutory leaves.
Maintain compliance with all federal and state benefit laws, including HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, ERISA, and IRS regulations.
Generate and analyze reports related to benefits and leave trends as needed.
Maintain accurate and confidential electronic employee files and HRIS data.
Works closely with employees daily to answer benefits questions regarding the insurance plans, how to enroll, document upload assistance and qualifying events.
Support HR team projects and initiatives, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to organizational goals.

Associates degree and two (2) years specialized administrative support training, preferably in Human Resources OR comparable years of relevant experience in the capacity of administrative assistant, benefits representative, coordinator, or other Human Resources position with similar responsibilities.
