The Manager – Project Controls oversees Business Services & Project Controls for transmission, substation, and data-center fixed-bid construction projects. The role provides cost control, schedule development, earned-value management, and leadership of project-controls analysts, ensuring compliance with execution strategies and client obligations.
- Manage cost and schedule controls for transmission, substation, and data center construction projects.
- Direct cost engineering functions including forecasting, change management, and analysis.
- Lead planning and scheduling activities, develop and monitor project schedules.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, finance, contracts, and legal teams to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and deliver status reports, financial summaries, and project controls presentations to internal and client leadership.
- Evaluate project stages to confirm cost, financial activities, and contractual obligations are met.
- Oversee staffing plans, workload coordination, and training for project controls personnel.
- Utilize project control systems such as Primavera P6, Procore, and Excel for schedule processing and reporting.

- Apply advanced knowledge of utility and industrial construction, engineering, procurement, and contracts.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management and at least 10 years of project controls experience.
- Possess expertise in finance, accounting principles, and quantitative analysis (statistics, calculus).
- Ability to travel, lift up to 50 lb, and work primarily in a sedentary office setting.
