Prepare designs and analyses for maritime and associated structures for ports and shipyards, including the structural design of dock and lock gates.

Demonstrate experience in the development of port or shipyard infrastructure, such as heavy-duty quays, dry docks, and dock gates.
Conceptual Ability – capable of undertaking design from concept to ready for construction.
Demonstrate commitment to training of junior staff e.g. as Delegated Engineer or Supervising Civil Engineer within an ICE training scheme.
Client Orientation – understands the importance of the client’s perception of the organization. Maintain a professional client-facing approach.
Problem Solving – think laterally and develop solutions to problems with others and on your own.
Willing to travel occasionally throughout the UK and overseas.
Experience in the design of floating steel structures such as dock and lock gates and pontoons, or other similar structures is essential.
