Collects and/or catches samples from tanks, pipes, and tank trucks and any additional/special samples as required
Assists with pre-job planning and safe work permitting
Attends one spill exercise bi-annually
Monitors process indicators, instruments, gauges, and meters to detect and report any possible problems
Performs needed tasks within the company’s Spill Response Team
Reads unit gauges to determine the flow rate of product into and from tanks and the amount of product in tanks
Assists with information gathering for inventory and compliance reporting
Responsible for operation of manual and automatic valves, meters, pumps, loading stations and transfer systems that move product between truck, tanks, and pipelines
Testing Fuel, Logging Fuel, Blending, and Fuel Additive information
Pre-start up Safety Review
Safely climbs various equipment components of the facility to collect samples, data and perform other necessary work on a regular basis
Assists with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance within the terminal
Responsible for loading and unloading Trucks
Inspects equipment on a scheduled timeframe
Assists with data entry in terminal automation software, electronic devices, and other approved platforms
Completes bi-annual First-Aid, CPR and AED training
Assists with preventive maintenance of terminal equipment
Performs housekeeping and grounds maintenance using motorized equipment
Participates in annual boom deployment training
Responsible for performing duties related to pipeline/terminal (maintenance, safety, light construction, etc.)

In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Passes required OQ (Operator Qualification) testing
Completes FEMA ICS 100 & 200 Training
Work effectively, safely and comfortably in PPE, Ability to work in temperature range of below freezing to 100+ Degrees, Must pass medical evaluation for Emergency Response, Enrolled in respiratory program, Must complete annual Hazwoper Refresher training, Work Space: 90% Field, 10% Office
Occasionally within shift (1-33%): Weight lifted / force exerted up to 50 pounds
