The Architectural Plans Coordinator‑WA will assist in coordinating and tracking residential projects, acting as a liaison between internal departments and external architectural and engineering firms. This role involves managing plan development, addressing code updates, and supporting job site personnel with plan discrepancies.
- Manage outside architects and engineers for new plan development and product implementation.
- Correspond with external consultants on timelines, requests, plan corrections, code updates, and construction issues.
- Coordinate plan changes and resolve discrepancies with job site personnel and consultants.
- Facilitate plan adjustments with internal departments such as purchasing, marketing, sales, operations, and construction.
- Maintain organized file updates for operations, construction, purchasing, and external consultants.
- Update plan marketing materials across operations, sales, and marketing teams.
- Track project task lists and community project master sets as directed by senior management.
- Review architectural plans for basic understanding, code compliance, and construction standards.
- Evaluate structural framing, roof trusses, and foundation plans for value engineering opportunities.
- Verify accuracy of architectural, structural, roof truss, and foundation documentation.
- Conduct routine on‑site inspections to ensure plan compliance with construction standards.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and have one to three years of related experience, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency with MS Office, the ability to follow structured procedures, and the physical capacity to work an 8‑hour day are required.
