RWE Offshore Wind GmbH is seeking a Senior Applied Scientist – Wind Park & Turbine Performance, available immediately on a full‑time or part‑time permanent basis. In this role you will provide expert knowledge in wind‑park and turbine performance, focusing on power performance testing, data analytics, and warranty management with relevant stakeholders. Your work will directly boost turbine and wind‑farm efficiency and support continuous improvement across RWE’s offshore portfolio.
The position requires an advanced degree (Master’s or higher) in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Physics or a related field and typically 5–10 years of experience in the wind‑power industry, particularly in power performance testing and analysis. A solid understanding of industry standards such as IEC 61400‑12, experience with power‑curve warranty processes, and proficiency in data‑analysis tools (e.g., Python, WindPRO, Windographer) are essential. Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaborate across functions, are also required.
