Production Supervisor

Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position is responsible for scheduling and overseeing the daily operation of the Plant to meet customer delivery expectations while ensuring safety, product quality, and efficiency of process within the Plant.

• Supports equipment reliability and Plant maintenance
• Complete paperwork as necessary on factory orders and roll receiving reports.
• Responsible for reporting issues or concerns to the Plant Manager or his / her deligate.
• Ensures the SPI and industry standards are met for all rolls.
• Supports continuos improvement efforts including LEAN, RCFA, RCM, ISO, etc.
• Directs employees to achieve the best product delivery and quality.
• Participates in the evaluation and training of plant labor
• Scheduling of production activities.
• Manages, directs, and controls activities for all manufacturing personnel.
• Learn to operate new equipment.
• Responsible for overall quality and cast performance for every roll.

• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Languages: English
• Multi-tasking capability in a high pressure environment is a fundamental requirement.
• Education: Basic: A high school diploma (or equivalent). Preferred: a Bachelors Degree in Engineering in a related field or relevant experience
• High attention to detail
• Be willing and able to proficiently perform all tasks with or without supervision.
• Proven supervisory and leadership abilities, excellent communication and interpersonnel skills.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience: 5-10 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a paper industry related setting.
• Requires computer skills with strong skills in WORD, EXCEL.
