Maintain detailed inspection records, document non-conformances, and provide clear progress reports to project leadership.
Review and verify installation methods, operational performance, and overall functionality of mechanical systems.
Monitor contractor activities in the field to ensure compliance with design documents, technical specifications, codes, and regulatory standards.
Conduct daily inspections of mechanical systems, with a focus on water pumps, piping, HVAC, and associated equipment.
Support commissioning activities and provide input on mechanical system testing, startup, and operational readiness.

Experience with municipal water projects or pumping facilities preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pumps, piping, HVAC, and general construction practices.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
OSHA safety training or other relevant certifications highly desirable.
Proven experience inspecting mechanical systems on water infrastructure or similar civil/MEP construction projects.
