Provide technical review for environmental investigations, remedial actions, and environmental due diligence projects for a variety of environmental project types throughout New England.
Generate and manage proposals, contracts, and subcontracts.
Perform on-the-job training and mentoring of junior staff.
Build strategic alliances and teaming relationships that enable Nobis to pursue commercial contracts as both a prime and subcontractor.
Track project schedules, budgets, and prepare monthly invoices.
Participate in commercial development team to develop strategy, identify leads, and position the team to grow commercial market sector revenues.
Identify, prioritize, and build relationships that will support Nobis’ long-term commercial strategies for growth.
Communicate with Nobis’ internal Resource Center Manager and Account Manager regularly on the status and performance of projects.
Communicate with clients, state and local regulators, contractors, and subcontractors.
Oversee the technical performance of projects to provide high-quality solutions (design plans, specifications, reports, and other design documents).
Assist in development of commercial market sector strategic plans, prepare revenue and labor utilization projections, and meeting revenue targets for commercial services.

Knowledge of local regulations, environmental standards, and construction practices in target markets.
Demonstrated experience with sales and marketing processes in commercial engineering or construction sectors at a management level.
A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in geotechnical engineering or a civil engineering curriculum with a strong concentration in geotechnical engineering from an accredited four-year college or university. It’s a plus to have a Master’s degree with a concentration of geotechnical engineering.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure with specialized experience in geotechnical engineering (required).
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance (required).
A minimum of five years related experience and/or training.
