- Lead or support initial application deployment and infrastructure spin-up activities, including environment configuration and security hardening.
- Communicate findings to management and stakeholders through briefings, written reports, and verbal presentations.
- Assist the government customer in developing milestone schedules, integrating multiple development stages, performing schedule risk analysis, building projections of schedule outcomes, and developing reports or presentations.
- Develop and maintain a cloud-native database in a classified DoD environment used for tracking and assignment measures.
- Implement and maintain database security protocols, backup procedures, and disaster recovery processes.
- Work within a cross-functional team to integrate development activities into achievable project milestones.
- Define, generate, and review project requirements with detailed technical documentation.
- Collaborate directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.

- Strong understanding of database architecture, design patterns, and optimization
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to work directly with stakeholders.
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools (Trello, Jira, Confluence)
- Knowledge of API development and RESTful service design
- Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and compliance requirements (FedRAMP, DoD IL4/IL5)
- 2+ years of backend development experience with JavaScript/Node.js
- Travel Requirements: 0-20% minimum travel
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related technical field. In lieu of degree, four (8) years of related professional experience is required
- Experience with front-end technologies: React, HTML, CSS
- Possess or obtain IAT Level II certification (Security+, SSCP, CySA+, GSEC, CCNA-Security, CND, or GICSP) within 12 months of employment start date
- Proficiency with Git version control
- Experience with greenfield application deployment and initial infrastructure spin-up (standing up new applications from scratch)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Application security experience, including implementation of security controls, vulnerability remediation, and security best practices
- 2+ years of experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
- Experience with SQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL)
- Must possess a Secret security clearance or higher.
- Experience with Continuous Monitoring and Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes
