Operates a variety of office and publication equipment such as copy machines, plotters, etc
Revises existing CADD drawings to meet defined standards
Complies with Johnson Controls policies and procedures and adheres to Johnson Controls standards
Plots drawings using CADD system as requested by internal customers
Locates and collect data for input to the CADD system database from documentation and field verification obtained from engineers. Revises CADD drawings to reflect actual conditions, including site and facility system plans.
Performs routine computer maintenance, including backups, and file maintenance
Under direct supervision, operates computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) system to produce simple and complex drawings, primarily 2D drawings. Interfaces with engineers to produce complete engineering drawing layout packages
Provides CADD design services in support of client modifications and construction projects
Finds and file drawings as needed in both paper and electronic formats

Experience working with commercial or industrial Electronic Security System designs or drawings (access controls, intrusion detection, CCTV camera, etc)
Associate’s Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Design Drafting, Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Management, or a related technical field
Familiarity with CADD software packages
Experience working with AutoCAD or Visio
Possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with a commitment to quality performance
Must understand drawing standards
Experience in design build construction
