  • Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation for plant operation and maintenance activities.
  • Provide engineering and technical support to assigned hydrogen production facilities, including on-site assistance during commissioning, startup, shutdown, and maintenance activities. Support troubleshooting and resolution of operational upsets and reliability issues, both remotely and in the field.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement plant productivity and reliability improvements, using engineering tools such as process simulation software (e.g., Honeywell UniSim) and data historian systems (e.g., OSIsoft PI)
  • Assist in developing and implementing training documents and certification processes for operators and technicians when new procedures or design modifications are introduced
  • Support spare parts management and vendor service contracts to ensure reliable plant operation and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) standards through active participation in Management of Change (MOC) processes, incident investigations, and root cause analyses (RCA)

  • Proven ability to manage complex technical projects, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in cross-functional environments.
  • Familiarity with CMMS platforms, maintenance workflows, spare parts management is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to support other site operations as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Chemical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting process equipment such as compressors, turboexpanders, pumps, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and gas purification systems.
  • Experience in writing and managing technical procedures for plant operations is required.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in process, chemical, or industrial gas plants in system/process engineering or operations support roles; direct, hands-on experience working at the plant level as a Plant Engineer is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of process instrumentation and measurement systems including gas analyzers, control valves, relief valves, and transmitters.
  • Strong understanding of material and energy balances, process hydraulics, and process safety management (PSM) principles.
