Communicates and transfers engineering data to aid field staff and craft.

Assists the construction team with the interpretation of engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
Assists the material receipt personnel by performing receipt inspections including coordination of non-conformance resolution with the cognizant Engineers and Procurement for incoming engineered equipment and components.
Coordinates site visit timing and requirements for engineering discipline EORs observations and sign-off.
Documents and assists in the resolution of technical issues that arise at the jobsite.
Works on special projects as assigned and directed by supervisor, the project engineer, or by the construction team.
Supports the construction superintendent regarding construction planning requiring engineering interface.
Supports construction with RFI’s from the Field to Engineering and assists in maintaining the RFI log.
Participates in constructability and model reviews.
Observes the work being performed and coordinates with Engineering to address any deviations from the drawings and specifications.
Travels to meetings with customers and vendors as required.
Communicates and transfers field issues to engineering group to improve engineering deliverables for efficient fabrication, erection, installation and testing of pressure vessels, storage tanks, piping and equipment.
Supports in conducting and documenting facility performance tests when within the project scope.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical or other related discipline required.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and good organizational skills.
Ability to work on multiple activities at one time.
Ability to perform with minimal supervision.
Strong computer skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word are required.
Physical Demands - Light physical effort required to sit or stand, reach, bend, and move about facility (including ladders and stairs).
Entry-level Engineer; no experience required but field experience on construction project sites highly preferred.
