Possess a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License.
U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to use specialized equipment and processes for applying preservatives. Ability to assemble a variety of mechanical systems and / or equipment.
Complete the Enlisted Warehouseman Basic Course at the MCSSS, or equivalent.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Base Access.
Ability to follow a variety of detailed processing instructions and use judgment in planning work sequences and selecting most appropriate processes.
Ability to use motorized materiel handling equipment and other labor-saving devices and machinery common to accomplish packaging operations.
Complete the Packaging technology and Administration Courses administered by the School of Military Packaging Technology, or equivalent courses. Working knowledge of all state, federal, and Department of Defense regulations governing the preparation and transportation of differing classes of materials.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Five years directly related work experience.
Working knowledge of various types and uses of preservations which protect metal and material against corrosion and deterioration.
Ability to comply with all established methods, safety standards, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.
