Tasks

-Lead the development of building code and regulatory compliance for assigned projects. -Serve as the technical and design lead on assigned projects, ensuring design integrity, constructability, and quality of documentation. -Along with members of the LDDBlueline Executive Team and Senior Project Managers, cultivate and build mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners. -Proactively and regularly communicate with consultants and team members (both internal and external) and strategic partners, ensuring that their work is current, accurate, and coordinated with LDDBlueline work. -Coordinate consultant input and integration, ensuring consistency, completeness, and alignment with project goals. -Supervise and mentor the design and production team, providing direction, feedback, and quality control throughout the project lifecycle. -Supervises design staff -Regularly update the project budget and schedule, and submit them to the Senior Project Manager for review. -Ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures to facilitate seamless coordination between team members across all offices. -Anticipate and resolve design and technical challenges, maintaining progress toward schedule and budget objectives. -Schedule and lead meetings with clients, contractors, vendors, government officials, other LDDBlueline staff, etc., as directed by the Senior Project Manager -Prepare documents for Quality Assurance Reviews as scheduled by the Senior Project Manager. -Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to plan, organize, and deliver all phases of project work. -This position will involve travel to client sites. In addition, occasional travel to other LDDBlueline offices will be necessary for training and planning. -Assists with testing assumptions in Project Start-ups as requested by Senior Project Managers -Coach and support the Design Staff and emerging professionals to promote their professional growth. -Manage all phases of project services per the contract. -Executes project work plans in conjunction with the Senior Project Manager

What You Bring

We seek a Project Architect/Leader who manages project development across all phases of projects. -Highly ethical -Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills -Proficiency in Revit, Sketchup, Microsoft Office, and other software used by the firm -Strong interpersonal leadership skills -Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills, with the ability to complete projects on time with precision and attention to detail -Professional design degree -Experience working on multiple projects at the same time -Effective communicator, both written and verbal -An architectural license (preferred) with a minimum of seven years of experience
