Assembly Class B

Description

The Role: Assembles moving parts such as shafts, levers, fan blades, and bearings according to customer specifications. The position requires reliable attendance, punctuality, on‑site work, and the ability to work overtime as needed. Collaboration, respect for customers and colleagues, and adherence to 5S workplace organization are essential.

• Remove metal to clean parts or achieve close fit using portable grinders.
• Drill, tap, ream holes, align components, and fasten them with bolts, screws or rivets.
• Install and test moving parts such as shafts, levers, fan blades, and bearings.
• Bend and install lubrication pipes; align and mesh gearbox gears, drive motors, and fan shafts.
• Operate tube‑rolling equipment after training.
• Perform hydro testing or assist in product testing after training.
• Prepare final assemblies for shipment or storage per drawings.
• Position parts manually or with overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
• Prepare tubes for welding to tube‑to‑sheet using steam cleaning or manual methods.
• Collaborate with coworkers during tube insertion assignments.
• Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, on‑site presence and overtime as needed.
• Implement and sustain 5S workplace organization and equipment cleanliness.
• Work cooperatively with the public, customers, vendors, colleagues and management.
• Handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment and interchange with department members.

Requirements

Education and Experience: Prior experience is preferred but not required. Candidates should be capable of working in a fast‑paced environment and handling multiple tasks concurrently.
