Kimley-Horn's Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (OK) office is seeking an Environmental Scientist with 2+ years of experience to join their Environmental team! This is not a remote position.

- 2+ years of relevant experience, including federal wetlands documentation and permitting
- Ability to enjoy work independently and on a team
- Associate or Certified Wildlife Biologist (preferred but not required)
- Willingness and flexibility to travel for projects as needed (locally and overnight)
- Working knowledge or strong interest in ArcGIS
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Threatened and endangered species survey and/or consultation experience (preferred)
- Demonstrated technical writing skills and experience writing detailed technical reports
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Ecology, Botany, Biology, or a related field
- Enjoy working in both an office environment and in the field, with field work being done in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, etc.)
- Ecological field work experience including leading aquatic resource delineations, listed species habitat assessments, and/or Phase I ESAs
- Adhere to the contract budget set by the client and demonstrate strong project management knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a given time and prioritize tasks and deadlines.
- Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
