- Knowledge about HVAC Rating Standards such as SEER2, HSPF2, IEER etc
- Proven experience in the evaluation, analysis, optimization, qualification, and implementation of heat transfer and fluid flow
- Ability to communicate complex ideas in well-defined manner
- Problem Solving & Decision Making
- Working knowledge of HVAC, Heat pump water heater or Refrigeration systems
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Working knowledge of Vapor compression cycles and refrigerants
- 3+ years of experience in the heat transfer, mechanical design, modelling, analytics, optimization and validation methods.
- Demonstrated ability to work constructively with all levels of internal team members, senior staff, external suppliers, and customers
- Professional Engineering License preferred
- Master’s degree in engineering or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to self-determine, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
- Fostering Relationships/ Emotional Intelligence
- Working knowledge of analysis & system development tools (e.g. CoilDesigner, Vapcyc, Dymola, GT Suite, ANSYS/Fluent, ANSYS/Mechanical, MATLAB, LabView, SolidWorks, EnergyPlus etc.)
