The role involves assembling Sycool units and non‑foam panel door and jamb assemblies, completing final assembly of foam panel doors (installing handles and hinges), and performing material handling in a safe, effective manner. The employee maintains Kanban inventory levels, adheres to the Munters Quality System, and submits in‑process quality assurance check sheets while observing all safety rules.
Additional duties include assisting with any factory operations to maintain workflow, keeping work areas clean and orderly, consistently operating according to safety requirements, and participating in meetings and work groups for training, issue resolution, and knowledge sharing. Other related tasks are performed as needed.
The position requires use of hand and power tools, assembly fixtures, crane devices such as vacuum lifters, cranes, and forklifts, as well as assembling sheet‑metal parts. Responsibilities also cover installing electrical, gas, and air‑conditioning equipment, testing equipment, loading finished products onto trucks, and assisting in on‑the‑job training of newer employees while completing quality assurance inspections and paperwork.
A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required. Skill sets include mechanical and electrical blueprint reading, use of measuring devices, strong mechanical aptitude, and proficiency with hand and power tools. Required training encompasses Munters orientation, quality assurance, safety awareness, and Assembly II mechanics.
