Integrate with all external project stakeholders as required including but not limited to government, utility providers, and the public.
Develop strong relationships with the client to ensure communication is provided to all project team members.
Present multiple reports to the client and Stantec management throughout the life cycle of the project.
Develop & execute the communication plans for the project.
Develop & execute an overall governance plan for the project.
Executing presentations for large amounts of resources including clients, personnel, management, public, etc.
Oversee and manage all project services including but not limited to project controls & scheduling, cost management, risk management, and document control.
Oversee all construction requirements of the project alongside the Construction Manager.
Oversee the engineering phase of all project components alongside the Engineering Manager.
Develop & execute the overall Program Management Plan for the project.

Or bachelor’s degree or equivalent in one of Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Project Management from an accredited institution considered an asset.

Understanding cash flow projections and aligning monthly expenditures to meet budget requirements.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered an asset.
Exceptional organization and project strategy skills.
Minimum of 15 years of Program Management type experience with brownfield/live Generation or similar projects.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Experience in managing all project services of similar type projects (i.e. project controls & scheduling, cost management, risk management, and document control).
Experience as a Project Director and/or Program Manager for Generation, major Substation, and/or similar complex industrial/utility type projects.
Experience in overseeing the procurement portion of similar type projects.
Experience in highly fast paced environments and bringing multiple departments and personnel together to develop a collaborative and integrative team culture.

PMI Risk Management Professional or similar is considered an asset.
