Ensuring work is carried out safely, to specification and in line with programme requirements, while coordinating trades, managing resources and enforcing health & safety standards on a high-profile project.
- Ensure that all additional work is identified and that the site team are fully aware of all potential opportunities and risks in line with mechanical BOQ.
- Ensure all materials delivered to site to meet production needs, this will be in line with the UK Commercial team.Scrutiny of the material with special attention to BS-EN materials is needed.
- Ensure PPE is being correctly worn relevant to the company's policy and sub-contractors RAMs
- Attend daily meetings regarding daily progress and upcoming works
- Responsible for the safety and welfare of the general public, staff and supply chain within their control under the strict observance of the G3 Systems Safety policy
- Manage to O&M production with G3 and sub-contractors.
- Participate in safety initiatives
- Ensure Work areas are ready for key stage inspections
- Communicate any project issues/risks to site team to ensure that they are fully aware of project progress and is notified of all financial, specification and time risks
- Quality checks of installation works completed using I-Auditor software
- Sending meeting minutes to relevant contractors regarding conversations held on site
- Working safely, stopping work if unsafe and speaking up to address any safety concerns
- Act as on-site surveyor for G3 CDP mechanical items, working collaboratively with the sub-contractor to ensure conformity with specifications and layout drawings.

Your work pattern will be 14 weeks deployed / 3 weeks leave rotation.
G3 Systems Ltd is seeking an experienced and safety-driven Mechanical Supervisor to join our construction team on a rotational deployment in Lagos, Nigeria. Working to UK standards within an international environment, you will oversee the installation, maintenance and quality of mechanical systems on site.

- Diploma in Heating and Ventilating - Industrial and Commercial Installation (6188-30)
- Previous experience providing installation compliance for Mechanical sub-contractors, taking operational responsibility for the Mechanical service delivery on the site
- Diploma in Planned and Reactive Maintenance on Heating and Ventilating Systems (6188-32)
- A rounded knowledge of risk and compliance and demonstrable planning & project management skills
- Good Health & Safety knowledge
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills, with an ability and confidence to coordinate and direct third party contractors and employees
- Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing Studies (6035-02)
- Demonstrable experience in a Mechanical Discipline (f-gas, HVAC or Plumbing) ideally within an FM or Construction environment and / or secure environment, military, health or similar sectors.
- Level 2 & 3 NVQ Diplomas in Heating and Ventilation
- Award in F-Gas and ODS Regulations 2079: Category I - Leak checking, recovery, installation, service, maintenance of equipment
- Your work pattern will be 14 weeks deployed / 3 weeks leave, enabling potential Non-Taxable (NT) status with HMRC, subject to eligibility.
