Assemble, install, test, and maintain instrumentation, electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, apparatuses and fixtures, using hand and power tools
Operate compressor engines and support equipment
Troubleshoot, operate, and maintain large and small diameter valves and operators, and other auxiliary equipment
Perform pipeline maintenance activities such as leak repair, clearing and inspection of right-of-way, and assisting with tie-ins of mainline valves
Locate and visually mark subsurface pipeline infrastructure with paint and/or flags

Perform pipeline locates through the Ohio state one-call system
Install, commission, test, repair, and maintain, meter stations, communication systems, and other facilities related to the pipeline system
Operate and maintain all facility assets, painting, weed eating, housekeeping etc.
Oversee, direct, and perform tasks related to the installation, start-up, and repair of measurement and regulation equipment, such as: various types of meters, recording gauges, flow computers, LCEM units, transmitters, relief valves, regulators, valve actuators, pneumatic and digital controllers, filtration devices, odorizers, and gas quality devices (chromatographs and gas samplers)
Travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings or training which would involve some overnight stays away from home
Assist in full or partial gas compressor overhauls, to include heads, pistons, rings, liners, pins, bushings, and bearings
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, equipment, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of the breakdown and correct the problem
Operate and maintain dehydration equipment
Oversee and manage pipeline or utility crossings and encroachments
Plan, coordinate, and perform mechanical maintenance activities, to include routine corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, equipment and system improvements, and major maintenance projects

Thorough understanding of stop work authority (SWA) and safe work practices
Demonstrated work experience in a related industry
Experience locating and marking subsurface pipeline infrastructure
Experience on the Measurement side can be learned
Be subject to working conditions which include adverse weather and temperatures, heavy lifting (50 pounds), and cramped conditions
Industrial experience in a plant environment
Thorough understanding of the test equipment used to maintain control systems
Experience with various types of gas measurement testing equipment
Knowledge of corrosion protection systems
Successfully complete a pre-employment medical screening, including drug and alcohol testing
Experience with pneumatic and electronic valves, transmitters, switches, and regulators
Associate degree to include courses in electricity/electronics
