Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client and A/E contacts to facilitate positive relationships and communication.
Establish and implement divisional policies, procedures, and organizational structure within the boundaries established by the management team and corporate policy.
Confer with professional staff to resolve operating problems, authorize divisional operational procedures, and approve all major estimates.
Maintain positive financial posture for assigned division work segments and monitor cost analysis activities on a routine basis . May manage financial aspects of division’s work activities.
Develop, direct, and monitor short-term and long-range plans consistent with overall profit and growth objectives of the company.
Provide guidance and directions to subordinate managers in identifying potential clients and desired scope of projects . Maintain an effective business development program, securing profitable work on a routine basis.
Plan, staff, and supervise all division activities including personnel administration, performance reviews, defining functions, responsibilities, power-to-act, and the like.
