The Project Controls Lead will coordinate all aspects of project controls, including cost management, earned‑value performance management, change management, reporting, and risk analysis, to ensure projects are delivered on budget and to the highest standards. This role partners with finance, accounting, project management and construction teams, driving key financial performance indicators.
Key duties include performance measurement and training, real‑time financial reporting using tools such as Procore, Power BI, Vista and Excel, and development of budgets, forecasts and cost‑to‑complete estimates. The incumbent will work with schedulers, identify and mitigate risks, manage change control processes, and serve as the primary interface between client and contractor controls teams while mentoring junior staff.
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, Operations Management or a related field, or possess equivalent experience, and have at least eight years of project‑controls or related experience. Preferred background includes energy or construction industry exposure, advanced Excel proficiency, and familiarity with Procore. The role requires strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, as well as a self‑starter attitude and eagerness to learn.
