- Supporting land development entitlement activities. Strategize, solve problems, and serve as a trusted advisor to the client.
- Attending functions outside of normal business hours to represent LJA at various events / seminars / workshops.
- Building relationships and growing business in the Land Development sector.
- Assisting in the development of intermediate and long-range plans for systems operation, maintenance, and expansion to ensure adequate services to customers.
- Managing design team's performance on assigned projects.
- Building the culture of the local Land Development practice.
- Reviewing major work orders. Approve and justify construction budgets and operations budgets.
- Participating in strategic planning activities and annual financial budget
- Leading and managing the executions of land development projects.
- Developing project scope, budget, and schedule.
- Meeting with existing and potential clients in the development community for business development purposes.
- Preparing reports for and advise senior management on a regular basis regarding the activities of the department.
- Reviewing and recommending payment for damage claims against the company to ensure company position is consistent and legally defensible.

- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- 5+ year’s managerial experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 15+ years of experience in Land Development engineering
- Excellent attention to detail and impeccable work ethic
- P.E. License
- Proficiency in appropriate software for the market
