  • Oversee daily business operations for the operating unit
  • Manage profit and loss, staffing, resource allocation and taking measures to improve performance for the group.
  • Developing strong relationships with functional leaders to ensure collaboration throughout the organization.
  • Develop, manage, and implement the strategic plan for growth within the operating unit.
  • Provide strategic direction for the operating unit based upon customer needs, market conditions, resource availability, and corporate objectives
  • Collaborating with the Growth Organization to develop short and long-term strategies to meet strategic company objectives.
  • Prepare the operating unit’s financial plan, budget, and financial forecasts, while maintaining planning and control procedures.

  • Active Secret clearance is required; (TS/SCI preferred)
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
  • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills, superior knowledge of business functions, exceptional budgeting, and finance skills, and strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions and develop strategies based on a deep understanding of customer needs and data
  • Recent experience with supporting Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) and Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC)
  • Master’s degree in business / engineering / aerospace and 15+ years of experience, including 5+ years of P&L experience.
  • Experience managing Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) product contracts
  • Strong business acumen, with a particular focus on profit optimization, EBITDA oversight, and effective cash flow management.
  • Demonstrated experience Capturing new work and leading Proposal teams
