

Designs and manufactures specialty purpose‑built vehicles and equipment for defense, fire, access, refuse and aviation.
The Apprentice will support workshop technicians in a range of tasks, from pre‑delivery inspections to servicing and repairing customer and company‑owned elevating work platforms, telehandlers, lighting towers, small construction equipment, and forklifts.
Key duties include learning to evaluate machine performance, inspecting designs for compliance, assisting with the installation, testing, repair, and modification of electronic and hydraulic systems, and conducting pre‑delivery and regular inspections. The role also involves completing required paperwork, maintaining workshop cleanliness, and performing sanding, painting, and other general trade tasks while adhering to Workplace Health & Safety and environmental policies.
Applicants must commit to a four‑year apprenticeship and obtain a Certificate III in Elevating Work Platforms or Mobile Plant Technology. Strong written and verbal communication, good listening skills, teamwork, basic numeracy, and a reliable, mature attitude are essential.
