Overview

Lead survey crews, conduct various land and construction surveys, and manage data.

Tasks

-Prepare forms and other paperwork in a timely manner -Organize and maintain survey documentation -Maintain excellent client relations -Conduct various types of surveying including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, subdivisions, construction stakeouts, etc. -Oversee the daily operation of a survey crew -Attend seminars and/or training classes -Communicate project status to Project Managers and clients -Maintain a safe working environment -Interpret maps, plats, construction drawings and specifications -Document work performed and sketches -Research project information at the Registrar of Deeds -Adhere to company standards for processing and storing data -Operate and maintain survey equipment -Perform various survey calculations

Requirements

What You Bring

-Associates degree or higher is preferred -8 or more years of related experience is preferred -Valid Driver’s license is required -Survey equipment (Trimble) experience is preferred -5 or more years of land and/or construction survey experience is required -High school diploma or equivalent required
