The Special Projects Lead Tech will assist with and oversee the installation, start‑up, and commissioning of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, while leading special‑project training and development initiatives.
Riddleberger Brothers, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC professional to join the team as a Special Projects Lead Tech. The role offers career growth within a full‑service plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, controls, and design‑build company based in Mount Crawford, VA, and is part of the Comfort Systems USA network.
Physical demands include working outdoors in all weather conditions, performing tasks at heights, lifting up to 50 lb, carrying 25 lb, climbing ladders or scaffolding, and navigating confined spaces, all while maintaining effective communication with coworkers and customers.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a journeyman license is preferred, and must hold a Universal Refrigerant certificate and OSHA 10‑hour certification. One to three years of HVAC installation experience, strong mechanical aptitude, excellent verbal and written communication, and a valid driver’s license are also required; leadership experience is a plus.
