Ensure technical requirements are met across all activities, escalating risks or issues to the engineering team.
Liaise with the Operational Planning Manager to ensure resource availability and alignment with site plans.
Liaise with control centre, NESO, and wind farm operator safety coordinators.
Translate asset management plans into executable programmes in collaboration with SAPs, Project Engineers, central engineering and project managers.
Write technical reports on asset issues for engineering review.
Support the engineering and training teams in developing a robust technical training programmes.
Lead, mentor and develop a team of 400kV SAPs.
Own technical oversight of the assigned OFTO portfolio, ensuring all asset-related works are planned and executed efficiently, to highest standards supported by quality client reporting.
Interface with stores and supply chain to confirm tools, equipment, and contractor engagement.
Champion HSEQ standards on site in liaison with the HSEQ team.
Lead customer interface through monthly meetings and regular communications.
Work closely with Project Manager for commercial oversight, including cost management and budgeting.
Lead monthly reporting on asset condition, performance, and emerging issues.
Perform SAP duties including outage planning, switching, safety documentation, and demarcation up to 400kV.
Act as Authorising Engineer where required, contributing to authorisation panels and training programmes.
