Ensure compliance with safety standards, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate documentation for inspections, reuse approvals, and failure analysis findings
Approve or reject parts for reuse based on visual and measurement tests; determine salvage processes for cost-effective repairs
Mentor and coach technicians, sharing technical knowledge and best practices
Conduct final inspections and sign-off for component release after rebuild completion
Participate in Caterpillar Production System (CPS) meetings and support CI card processes
Provide technical assistance with Failure Analysis (FA) reporting as well as Component Appraisal Reports
Work closely with technicians during strip down, cleaning, and assembly processes, with a strong focus on parts reusability
