- Initiate process control changes and cost-saving projects.
- Troubleshoot and modify PLCs for optimal performance.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques to enhance production efficiency.
- Utilize tightening tools, robotics, PLCs, and vision systems (Keyence/Cognex).
- Facilitate machine-to-machine communication and testing equipment usage.
- Conduct time studies, labor studies, and defect reduction studies.
- Support assembly process directly, taking ownership of the process.
- Ensure smooth operation of assembly lines through continuous improvement projects.

- Understanding of communication protocols such as DeviceNet, Ethernet IP, and MOD BUS.
- Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting, including ladder logic.
- 3+ years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Experience working closely with maintenance and production teams.
- Experience with robotics/cobots (Universal/Fanuc).
- Project management skills.
- Knowledge of Toyopuck/Robotics.
- Expertise in cycle time and cost reduction.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is highly desired.
- Familiarity with vision systems, particularly Cognex and Keyence.
