Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Description

• Create concise engineering calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to find and implement sustainable, efficient, and low-energy solutions.
• Manage the design and implementation of mechanical systems for technically advanced, high-scale building developments.
• Ensure projects meet the client’s requirements, sustainability goals, and building regulations.
• Guide and support junior engineers and share knowledge with the team.
• Use software tools to aid the design process, such as Revit, AutoCAD, and IES.

Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC and building service systems.
• Previous experience as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer or a similar position, working on complex projects.
• Prior experience working with low carbon technologies (e.g. heat pumps) is ideal.

We are currently looking for a skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, to join a well-established engineering consultancy, in a permanent role. Within this position, you will be required to attend our client’s London office on a hybrid basis, whilst contributing to a variety of high-scale, sustainable building projects within the UK and across the globe.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field, and a chartered status is ideal.
