The Digital Adoption Representative will lead dealer execution of key digital initiatives, act as a trusted advisor, and drive adoption of new technology to fuel revenue growth and improve the customer experience.
- Communicate customer needs and commit to resolving them.
- Meet regularly with customers to understand their wants and expectations.
- Explain assignment requirements, deliverables, costs, and criticalities.
- Document client objectives and project scope.
- Identify, obtain, and organize relevant data and ideas.
- Recognize, clarify, and prioritize concerns.
- Use appropriate persuasion methods to gain agreement.
- Provide prompt, effective responses to client requests.
- Work with clients to address critical issues and resolve major problems.
- Govern dealer execution of strategic digital initiatives to support business growth.
- Enable revenue growth by expanding connected assets and e‑commerce adoption.
- Serve as trusted advisor to prioritize digital projects and allocate resources.
- Lead process improvements in data management, platform deployment, and technology adoption.
- Develop and manage adoption and communication strategies for new digital products.

The role requires traveling to assigned Caterpillar dealerships more than 50 % of the time.
Success in this role depends on a strong customer focus, consulting expertise, sound decision‑making, effective communication, and relationship‑management skills, ensuring client needs are understood, solutions are clearly defined, and issues are resolved promptly.
Ideal candidates have experience with Caterpillar applications such as VisionLink, Cat Central, Parts.Cat.Com and SIS, are proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, familiar with CRM (Salesforce) and ERP platforms, and have worked with PowerBI or Tableau.
- Communicate effectively downward, upward, and outward.
- Experience with Caterpillar applications such as VisionLink, Cat Central, Parts.Cat.Com, and SIS.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP platforms.
- Experience using PowerBI or Tableau for analytics.
