Senior Payroll Specialist

Description

We are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team and support end to end payroll operations across multiple locations. This role focuses on accurate payroll processing, tax reconciliation, benefits deductions, reporting, and coordination with HR and Finance.

• Implement process improvements to support accuracy and efficiency
• Reconcile benefit deductions and support audits and compliance reporting
• Work with global mobility partners including tax advisors
• Process semi monthly and biweekly payrolls with accuracy
• Support benefit deductions including 401K, ESPP, and regulated plans
• Manage reductions in force, terminations, and severance calculations
• Ensure payroll tax compliance and reconcile ADP quarterly tax records
• Support the Finance team with general ledger interface and payroll reporting
• Handle assignee payroll including inbound and outbound taxation and reporting
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee information
• Complete gross up taxation and global assignment cost calculations
• Maintain accurate employee records across payroll and HR systems
• Deliver payroll data to ADP and maintain all earning, deduction and memo codes

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, advanced payroll knowledge, and experience working with complex taxation structures, including gross up processes and international assignee payroll.

• Experience with ADP required
• Five years of accounting experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of payroll taxation including gross up processes
• Ability to work under pressure and meet frequent deadlines
• Seven years of payroll processing experience
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
• Knowledge of Workday preferred
