Manage operations, staff, finances, and resident relations for an affordable housing community.

Tasks

-Ensuring all team members abide by federal fair housing standards and all other laws. -Meet targeted revenue goals by exceeding occupancy budgets, improving resident retention, and monitoring the property's financial performance. -Responding to issues outside of normal work schedule when required. -Frequently sit, stand and walk. -Be the primary representative of Elmington to residents, vendors, and employees. -Financial management, review, and reporting. -Maintaining neat and consistent resident files onsite in either electronic and/or hardcopy format. -Following all company policies and procedures. -Successfully execute Elmington's non-negotiables for community performance. -Effectively manage staff, operations, and financial performance of your community. -Presenting a professional image and effectively representing the company to residents, vendors, and owners.

What You Bring

-Minimum 2 years of multi-family property management experience required. -Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. -Must be willing to work weekends. -Regularly required to talk or hear. -Operating computers and other technological devices. -Minimum 2 years' experience as a Community Manager/Property Manager -Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. -Proven leader, forward thinker, innovative, and driven. -Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls. -Professional verbal and written communication. -Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, leadership, and residents. -Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate, though the ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors is necessary. -Outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines efficiently. -Think creatively and go way beyond the box by conceptualizing new ideas to improve the business. -Must have affordable/tax credit experience. -Travel up to 10% of the time. -Bachelor's degree preferred -Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
