Customer Care Associate, Part-Time

Description

• Conduct terminal and concession inspections and report any discrepancies to the appropriate department in a timely manner
• Assist passengers with navigating the terminal facility, as well as answer any general airport-related questions
• Assist with terminal-related projects, as needed
• Facilitate professional assistance to travelers in need of police or medical aid
• Assist with the Port Authority's Lost & Found program
• Assist at the security checkpoints by greeting passengers and directing them to the appropriate queue line, assist with queue line management and answering any customer service-related questions

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid Florida driver’s license
• Eligible to obtain a U.S. Customs & Border Protection Customs Seal, which includes a comprehensive federal background check.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. A minimum of two years of aviation and/or customer service experience preferred
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and have the ability to effectively communicate with others in stressful situations
• Standing and walking for the majority of the work day is required
