We are looking for a reliable, resourceful forklift operator who enjoys moving and handling construction materials. Using an electric or propane counter‑balance forklift, you will receive, prepare, and load long, heavy or oddly shaped items, mostly outdoors (about 80 % of the time) while maintaining precision, coordination and safety.
- Proven experience operating a seated counter‑balance forklift with precise maneuvering, including non‑standard loads.
- Ability to perform physical work and handle loads up to 50 lbs in a mostly outdoor setting.
- Practical, resourceful mindset and adaptability to various field tasks.
- Strong organisational skills and rigor to ensure accurate, safe loadings.
- Good team player with effective communication; minimum French proficiency required.
- Safe‑work practices with an SST committee.
Benefits
The position is based at 4500 rue Bernard‑Lefebvre, Laval (H7C 0A5). Work hours are Monday‑Friday, 3 p.m. to midnight, with possible overtime. Pay is $25.32‑$28.29 per hour (including an evening premium) plus time‑and‑a‑half after 40 hours, paid weekly, on a year‑round basis.
