What you would be doing
- Actively participate in the computer-aided design of 2D and 3D plans
- Supervise contractors on site
- Serve as a point of contact between the team and managers
- Coordinate assignments with other discipline leaders
- Perform technical information surveys
- Coach and support team members in their professional development
- Plan resources, manage schedules and monitor performance
- Actively participate in recruitment, onboarding and training processes
- Prepare installation specifications and lists of equipment, cables and interconnections in accordance with standards and established drawings based on engineer-produced guidelines
- Foster a healthy, inclusive and collaborative work environment
- Help with the various stages of projects, from design studies to detailed engineering
- Perform design calculations
