The role involves inspecting stacks of doors on a conveyor, performing visual quality checks, repairing defects using various tools, restacking doors that meet specifications, and separating unrepairable doors for rejection. Operators also move pallets, run jump tracks, straighten doors, and feed repaired doors into the paint booth.
Employees must read and interpret ticket instructions, identify product quality issues, and be familiar with sanders, planers, hand tools, and other woodworking equipment. High attention to detail and the ability to multitask across different stages of door production are essential.
