This second‑shift position focuses on product quality review within the manufacturing process, impacting departmental operations. The role offers limited autonomy while adhering to standard functional practices and procedures, with occasional judgment required under guidance.
Key responsibilities include routine analysis of quality problems, resolution using expertise and precedent, and the establishment and execution of project quality plans with required documentation for contract compliance. The incumbent ensures customer quality requirements and lessons learned are integrated into process improvements, develops new solutions in collaboration with teams, and works with cross‑functional groups to address production quality issues while maintaining quality metrics.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering and have at least three years of manufacturing quality experience (four years manufacturing preferred). Desired attributes include strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, the ability to influence and lead small teams, coordinate multiple projects, and demonstrate effective problem‑identification and analytical abilities.
The salary range for this U.S. position is $81,700 to $136,700, with potential geographic differentials and no bonus eligibility.
