Key responsibilities include witnessing genset receipt to check for transport damage, performing scheduled storage and product audits, completing visual inspections with quality checklists, documenting findings in SAP, creating Quality Notifications for non‑conformances, and confirming corrective actions from 8D investigations. The technician also supports continuous‑improvement data, coordinates ship‑short parts, carries out minor rework using hand tools, and provides accurate, timely quality data to management while promoting a culture of compliance.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Candidates need either a two‑year mechanical, engine, or automotive associate degree plus two years of quality inspection experience in durable‑goods manufacturing, or five years of comparable inspection experience.
Preferred qualifications include proficiency with hand tools and torque wrenches, ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings, strong knowledge of large‑equipment parts and gauge/testing equipment, effective communication at all organizational levels, solid written and verbal skills, and competency with PC and Microsoft Office Suite.
