  • Keep detailed records of environmental monitoring activities and inspections.
  • Compile and submit reports on monitoring, inspections, and audits.
  • Offer guidance and recommendations to enhance environmental protection and rectify any non-compliance issues.
  • Perform environmental monitoring and follow-up activities in line with environmental approvals and relevant legislation.
  • Support the delivery of environmental orientation sessions for project personnel and conduct regular environmental toolbox talks as needed.
  • Address environmental concerns and ensure compliance with environmental approvals and project agreements.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to facilitate the execution of the Environmental Management Plan.
  • Implement control measures to manage all environmental aspects and related issues in support of the project.

  • Knowledge of British Columbia’s environmental laws and regulations
  • Experience on large infrastructure projects preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, including construction companies in British Columbia
  • Knowledge of environmental inspection methods and best practices
  • Qualified Person (QP) certification preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, or related discipline
Benefits

Pay range for this role is $80,000 - $110,000/year.
