  • Integrate and operationalize GE Vernova Industrial Hygiene and Environmental/Sustainability core technical program expectations into the One Wind organization.
  • Work with regional teams to support industrial hygiene and environmental program activities.
  • Support GE Vernova EHS business operation system (Framework) and ISO programs
  • Lead Industrial Hygiene program, with a priority focus on identifying and managing industrial hygiene exposure risks in the Wind organization and developing monitoring and mitigation plans to ensure they are managed to both regulatory and policy guidance.
  • Proactively partner and develop positive working relationships with cross-functional personnel.
  • Support the key deliverables and KPIs for the business as it relates to health and safety strategy.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise on environmental program support needs for Wind Product Safety and field-based environmental program risks and controls (e.g., waste management, water management, etc.)
  • Provide coaching and leadership to ensure incidents are reported and conduct incident investigations and industrial hygiene and environmental audits, identify discrepancies, and drive correction actions as needed.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple issues with competing priorities
  • Certified Health and Safety professional or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
  • Related EHS expertise outside of primary responsibility, for example, Occupational Safety or Sustainability
  • Significant experience and demonstrated achievements with safety programs, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
  • High energy, self-starter
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an industrial hygiene or environmental program lead
  • Trained to Global Wind Organization (GWO) basic safety standard
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or technical equivalent from an accredited college or university, or equivalent qualification
  • Fluent English with strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience working in or across different GE Vernova businesses
  • Medical fitness and ability to work at height per local and global standards
  • Field experience in a project / services environment, practical experience in risk management
  • Ability to travel up to 25-30% of the time
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, motivate and drive change and interact cross-functionally
  • Additional language skills
  • Ability to influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goal
  • Prior experience in Wind industry and/or energy industry fields
  • Knowledge of EHS management systems
  • Remote and/or located in Schenectady, NY
  • Able to coach and support key influencers to drive EHS compliance and the reduction of risk through team engagement and help develop an organizational culture that prioritizes EHS.
  • Confidently able to facilitate and deliver training and or presentations to a diverse audience
