The Client Accountant supports the financial management of client income and expenditure, assists in producing client reports, and ensures accurate financial record‑keeping. This role is vital to maintaining the integrity of client accounts and facilitating effective communication within the accounting team.
In this position the accountant oversees client finances, including income and expenditure management, regular and ad‑hoc reporting, and collaboration with the wider accounting team to balance workload and resolve issues.
The role requires a basic understanding of accounting or bookkeeping, a minimum of GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English, and strong computer literacy, particularly in MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook. Candidates must demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain high levels of organization and attention to detail to meet tight deadlines.
