We're seeking a skilled and dedicated Facility Condition Assessor to join our dynamic team! If you're passionate about building assessment processes and have a deep understanding of technical standards within Buildings & Infrastructure, this role is for you.
As a Facility Condition Assessor, you'll play a crucial role in performing comprehensive building evaluations, including Facility Condition Assessments (FCA), energy audits, ADA accessibility assessments, mechanical equipment evaluations, space planning, and other asset management functions for commercial, institutional, and municipal facilities. This role requires 50% travel - boots on the ground - to be able to put your eyes on the buildings for assessment.
- Experience in building condition assessments, energy audits, and space planning.
- Experience in Facility Design, Building Construction, Assessments, and/or Maintenance Management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license is required with no significant MVA points/violations (clean driving record).
- Proficient in using mobile inspection and capital planning software.
- Must be willing to fly and live near (or be willing to relocate to) a major metropolitan area with reasonable access to a major airport.
- May be required to work overtime and travel up to 50% of the time.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and meet productivity and quality objectives.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications with a strong emphasis in MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel, on average, approximately 50% time to client sites.
