Responsibilities include planning, designing, and deploying scalable LAN, WAN, and cloud‑based networks, as well as creating and maintaining accurate network diagrams, documentation, and standards. The engineer will monitor network performance, resolve issues, and execute upgrades, patches, and configuration changes across routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems, participating in an on‑call rotation for level‑three support.
Security and compliance duties involve implementing and enforcing network security policies, managing firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems, and collaborating with cybersecurity teams to meet industry standards. The role also leads network‑related projects, migrations, and integrations, while mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance across IT teams.
The Senior Network Engineer will design, implement, and maintain our global enterprise network infrastructure. This role demands deep technical expertise, critical thinking, and the ability to lead complex projects that guarantee reliability, scalability, and security. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem‑solver with strong communication skills and a passion for optimizing network performance.
Vendor and collaborator management requires evaluating new technologies, recommending tools and vendors, and aligning network solutions with organizational goals through close work with business partners. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and have at least five years of network engineering experience with routing and switching (Cisco, Juniper, Arista), firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA), wireless, VPN, cloud networking, and SD‑WAN.
Strong knowledge of protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, and DHCP, along with experience designing multinational networks and familiarity with global regulatory requirements, is required. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple fast‑paced projects, and a passion for continuous learning are essential.
