- Reviewing and advising on RAMS for high-risk activities such as excavation, confined space entry, and working near live gas assets.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, including CDM 2015, Gas Safety (Management) Regulations, PUWER, LOLER, and RIDDOR.
- Promoting a positive safety culture through active engagement with contractors and field teams.
- Maintaining accurate safety documentation, including inspection reports, training logs, and audit findings.
- Leading or supporting incident investigations, identifying root causes, and sharing lessons learned.
- Advising on health and safety requirements during project planning and mobilisation.
- Conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and enforce corrective actions.
- Supporting strategic safety initiatives, including behavioural safety campaigns and ISO45001 inspections.
- Managing your own workload with autonomy, adapting to business demands and delivering against key performance indicators.
- Delivering safety training, inductions, and toolbox talks to ensure site teams understand their responsibilities.
- Monitoring contractor performance and escalating concerns where necessary.
