  • Lead the efforts to seek out current best practices for a process/procedure, create a simplistic and standard process/procedure for the network, seek feedback from all key stakeholders involved in the process/procedure, create training documents for the new standard process/procedure, and roll out the newly effective process/procedure.
  • Partner with the Local Solutions finance team to prioritize the list of processes and procedures to be simplified and standardized within the organization, including, but not limited to: production reconciliations, journal entries, capital expenditures, fixed asset management, inventory management, internal controls and SOX items, financial and cost reporting, manufacturing KPIs, and operational leadership reporting packages.
  • Seek approval from SOX and Internal Audit organizations prior to updating any processes/procedures that may affect the internal control environment.
  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for most general applications of SAP S/4 Hana within the manufacturing finance and support applications.
  • Lead, coach, develop and mentor a team accounting clerks and support staff.
  • Use technology, where available, to automate processes.
  • Host a recurring series of calls for staff accountants and financial analysts to share best practices, network, and advance business acumen initiatives.

  • Prior experience providing hands on training.
  • Ability to act independently as a subject matter expert with limited supervision.
  • Ability to implement ideas across a multi-plant environment.
  • Advanced MS Office.
  • Ability to influence others without a direct reporting relationship.
  • Have a continuous improvement mindset, being able to identify process gaps and inefficiencies and take the lead to work with others to define and implement best practices within a network.
  • Travel – 10% or more may be required.
  • Be available to provide support, troubleshoot, and answer questions team members within manufacturing finance may have on SAP S/4 Hana.
  • Prior experience in team leadership preferred.
  • Relevant work experience could be considered in lieu of a degree for the right candidate.
  • Subject Matter Expert in ERP System for manufacturing finance roles, SAP S/4 Hana preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Advanced Degrees, CMA, CPA a plus.
  • 5+ years manufacturing finance and/or cost accounting experience required.
