Supports Big-D’s mission and values as well as all policies and procedures
Directs all professional staff in the preconstruction process and leads their teams in such a way to maximize the contributions of each team member
Recruit high caliber personnel from outside sources to work at Big-D
Recognize the skills of project personnel, nominating worthy individuals for Big-D awards and advancement
Works with the Project Director and project management team to ensure a successful transition from preconstruction to construction
Ultimately accountable for accurate estimates, cost studies, benchmarking, and team participation as necessary to gain approval for the project to proceed into construction
Fosters collaboration within the project team
Leads all preconstruction services for their projects
Provides continuous project oversight during the design and preconstruction phase

10+ plus years working in the preconstruction process as a Sr. Estimator, Chief Estimator or Manager
Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering or related
Ability to coach, mentor and teach team members
